Can You Drive on Ocean City NJ Beach?

From September 15th to September 30th and May 1st through May 15th vehicles are not allowed on the beach between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

A permit is required to drive your vehicle on the beach to fish. There are a limited number of permits issued. The waiting list can vary in time depending on the availability of an opening. Property owners have first priority, then residents, then non-residents.
