Brigantine 4-Wheel Drive Beach Permits

How awesome is it that you can drive your vehicle on Brigantine beaches with a permit. So load up the family and park your 4 wheel vehicle on the beach for the day and don’t forget to grab the beach chairs, bucket and shovel for an enjoyable day for the whole family on the beach.

Driving a four-wheel drive is permitted on the beach, as long as a permit is obtained. (See fee table below.)

Applicants should present a valid driver’s license, auto registration and proof of insurance.

Permit holders must follow rules and regulations of permit.

4 Wheel Drive Permits usually go on sale around December 1st for the summer season at the Brigantine Beach Community Center located on 42nd Street.

Permit holders must follow rules and regulations of the permit.

Permanently Disabled persons need to provide documentation with proof of permanent disability to receive discount. For information regarding permits please call (609) 266-2891. Applicants should present a valid driver’s license, auto registration and proof of insurance.

All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) are not permitted on the beach. Drive, All Wheel Drive Vehicles do not qualify for a permit. Vehicles MUST be Four Wheel Drive.
