You will love our newly decorated Condo that was accomplished Fall 2014 on the second floor! It is fully furnished for comfort, ease of use, amazingly relaxful and with a beautiful view. No fuss here and such a large balcony (360 sq. ft.) for the whole family to enjoy! As owners of this Condo, our goal is to provide a stress free vacation spot that has home amenities for you and your family to enjoy! Our Condo is located just a short walk to the Concierge desk, beautiful indoor heated pool, computer room and young children’s playroom. Stop by the Concierge desk, and check out the pool table cues or shuffle board pucks and head to the game room. Or, reserve the large screen theater, with deep lounge type seating for your personal use. And, being on the second floor means you are closest to the outdoor three spill over pools, including the young kid’s shallow end, and long lazy river. The many chairs, loungers, and umbrellas will provide a day of fun at the pool! You can take your own soft drinks and snacks with you! Let those worries just fade away!

We have taken great care to provide a Condo that has everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. Because, really now, that’s the whole point, isn’t it? Less stress means more fun! We selected the following paints to enhance our condo with the beauty of the pool and splendor of nature that is just outside the huge glass windows. Owl Gray for the master bedroom and bathroom, Nantucket Blue in the hallway, kitchen and living room and Urban Putty in the two guest bedrooms and bathroom. Also selected art work and nautical items to connect your senses with the beach and water environment! The Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, eating, and cleaning needs, and includes all usual appliances that you should need, including a 2 door stainless refrigerator that dispenses ice and water, a microwave, dishwasher, glass stove top, oven and large single bowl sink. The large, granite top island seats 4. The living room offers two comfortable recliner chairs, two extra large chairs, a large green sofa to lounge on, coffee table, large ceiling fan, tower lamp, large Visio smart TV, Bluetooth wireless speaker, WiFi and a whimsical 3D fish tank mural on the wall.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with side tables and lamps on each side, a full dresser and a ceiling fan. The master bath has a huge walk in shower, with both wall and ceiling shower heads. Lots of storage for personal items underneath the two sink vanity in the master bath. The first guest room contains a full over full set of bunk beds, dresser, bedside table and closets for storage and hanging clothes. The second guestroom contains a single queen sized bed, bedside table, ceiling fan, closet for hanging clothes and storage. There is a large full bathroom, with shower/tub combination between those bedrooms and contains a full size stackable washer and dryer. And, don’t forget those living room sofas that makes into twin beds!

The extra-large balcony is a favorite, and includes a large wooden table with 8 chairs, 2 Adirondack lounge chairs, wooden settee and table for that early morning or late afternoon relaxation! All of the second floor balconies are huge compared to higher floors. Not all second floor balconies are full width, but ours is!

A Caribbean Seaside Resort conveniently located in Galveston best describes Diamond Beach Resort and Spa, which is unequivocally the preeminent resort in Galveston. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo is located on the third floor at Diamond Beach and sleeps 4-6 people. As you step inside our condo, you will be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. When you open the sliding glass doors, you will step onto your private balcony overlooking one of Diamond Beach’s pools and the gorgeous Gulf seascape. The balcony is a great place to sip a cup of coffee in the morning before everyone wakes up or have a nice glass of wine in the evening with your family and friends.

The master bedroom is an oasis for rest and relaxation with its chandelier, deluxe king size bed, handmade Italian headboard, flat screen TV and DVD player, and oversized private bath with his and her sinks and a rain shower. Once you try the rain shower, your spouse may never see you again because the rain shower feels so good. The 2nd guest bedroom has two twin size beds with the same deluxe mattress as the king size bed, custom headboards, flat screen TV and DVD player, and a tub bath adjacent to the room. The condo is tiled with stone floor throughout and has its own washer/dryer.

The condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and has granite counter tops. You’ll have great views as you prepare pancakes for breakfast or eat your favorite take out foods from the large number of restaurants within a short distance from Diamond Beach. The large dining table is a great place to catch up with your family and friends while you enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf. The living room has fantastic views of the ocean, a queen sleeper sofa, and flat screen TV and DVD player.

In case you are traveling with additional family members or friends, we also own a 3 bedroom penthouse, 5PH2, on the 5th floor which accommodates 8 people (vrbo #515542) and my parents recently purchased a 2 bedroom penthouse next door, 5PH3, which accommodates 6 people (vrbo #1619143).

Pools: Three pools consisting of a 750 ft. lazy river with a swim up bar and grill, a gigantic 300 ft. tiered cascading pool (which includes a kids’ pool) and Galveston’s only indoor heated pool for year-round enjoyment. The pools have plenty of lounge chairs or, if you want something more private, you can rent a cabana for the day or use one of the grills on the property. The kids (and adults too) will love the fantastic water slide plunging them into the lazy river. The slide is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Bar: The Citadel Bar is now open on the 3d floor. Come in and enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere inside or the best views of the Gulf on the large patio. My favorite drink is the lemon drop martini, but they have many other drinks you will enjoy.

Spa: The Oasis Massage, Bath & Body Spa is now open on the 4th floor. Book your appointment and relax with one of the many wonderful treatments.

Gym: The Look Better in Your Swimsuit Center (aka The Exercise Room). This place may inspire those of us (like me) who would prefer to have a tooth extracted instead of going to the gym to actually get on a treadmill with spectacular vistas of the Gulf.

Game Room. Tabletop shuffleboard, foosball, pin ball machines, a billiards table, and a Wii Room for the kids. Sometimes even parents get to play.

Cinema Room: If you are in the mood to go to the movies, all you need to do is step into the private theater room at Diamond Beach while you enjoy a bag of popcorn. The concierge has complimentary movies, or you may select from our private library or bring your favorite DVDs to play in the cinema room.

Kids Jungle Room: With its jungle murals, games, blocks, oversized bean bags and TV, this is the place to be for the hip toddler crowd.

Business Center: If you must work, at least you’ll have great views of the indoor pool and beach. The business center has computers for your use as well as complimentary WiFi and is open 24/7.

White Sand: Next to the lazy river, there is an area about the size of a volleyball court with imported white sand. This is perfect for small kids or a volleyball game. While it’s not a beach, this area is great for making white sand castles or having fun in the sun.

Beach Access: If you have time to go to the beach after doing all of the activities at Diamond Beach Resort & Spa, all you need to do is open the door on the property next to the lazy river and walk down to the beach. Diamond Beach is located just steps away from the beach. There’s no need to cross the road or jump in the car.

Diamond Beach is near everything. Reeseside Unit 601 has great views of Seawall Blvd, Downtown Galveston, and the Gulf from all the living areas as well as from both bedrooms and the wrap around balcony. Nightscape lights are spectacular. One has the feel of being on a cruise ship overlooking the water during the day.

In addition to the views, what sets this unit apart from other 2/2 units at Diamond Beach is its large 1595 sq. ft. floorplan which makes it one of the LARGEST 2 bedroom units for rent in Diamond Beach. Also, it is one of the few rental condos with a built-in ROCK FIREPLACE to enjoy in the cooler weather. It has easy access to parking areas with an elevator conveniently located near the front door of the unit.

Upon entering the unit, one will find all new classic coastal furnishings for the discerning guest to enjoy. The large Master Bedroom has a deluxe King size bed with plush bedding, flat screen TV, DVD, and Music player, and large attached master bath with double sink/vanity area and rain shower. The 2nd Guest Bedroom has a Queen size bed and TV, DVD, and Music player. A Tub/Shower bath is adjacent to Guest Bedroom and also available to living area guests. For a variety of sleeping arrangements to accommodate the required maximum number of 6 guests, there is a Comfortable Queen sleeper couch, an inflatable twin mattress, and even a portacrib for the toddler in the group.

All linens and plenty of towels are available at no additional charge. Should you need it, a full size washer and dryer are in the unit.

The condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and even has a stock of seasonings in the pullout pantry, so check before going to a grocery store, although a Walmart, Randalls, and Krogers are within a 5-10 minute drive. For those not wishing to cook, there are many nearby fine dining and quick food restaurants with a number of them who deliver right to the condo unit door. The dining area seats 6 with an additional 3 barstools at the bar area. One can also enjoy morning coffee, snacks, and drinks on the large curving balcony.

There is a built-in rock wall fireplace, soundbar, and large flatscreen TV and DVD player across one wall of the living area. A wireless router for elctrical devices is available in the unit as well as a desk area.

Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.)

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

All of the condos at Diamond Beach have great views of the water but this is one of the few condos that has a view of the bay and the ocean. As you step inside the penthouse, you will be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico. When you open the sliding glass doors, you will step onto your private oversized balcony with a 180 degree view of the bay and the gorgeous Gulf waters. The balcony is a great place to sip a cup of coffee in the morning before everyone wakes up or have a nice tropical drink in the evening with your family and friends.

The master bedroom in the penthouse opens up to a spectacular view of the Gulf. The bedroom is an oasis for rest and relaxation, starting with its chandelier, deluxe king- size bed, and 55-inch flat screen TV. The bathroom contains a wonderful rain-shower. The bathroom also has his and her sinks.

The 2nd bedroom has a deluxe king size bed and a 43 inch flat screen TV. The 2nd bath is across from the guest bedroom. The penthouse is tiled with stone floor and a washer/dryer.

The penthouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen and has granite counter tops. You’ll have 180 degree views of the ocean as you prepare waffles for breakfast or eat your favorite take-out foods from the large selection of restaurants within a short distance of Diamond Beach. The dining table seats 4 and the counter-stools sit 3, which is where the kids like to sit.

The living room has fantastic views of the ocean, a queen-sleeper sofa, and a 65-inch flat screen smart TV. The condo sleeps 4-6 people. You might never leave the balcony!! This large balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset while listening to the waves crashing. Views of the ocean and luscious landscape on the lazy river are right at your doorstep. You are located right at the center of all the resort activity.

The master bedroom features a luxury king-sized bed and large flat screen TV. In the master bath, you will be delighted to find a full sized Jacuzzi tub and a separate rain shower.

The guest bedroom also features another luxury king-sized bed and large flat screen TV. The third ‘bunk room’ features a dual full-sized bunk bed and large flat screen TV. There is also a twin trundle bed under the bunk beds.

For your added convenience, the unit has a washer and dryer, electric grill on the balcony, DVD players and toys for the kids.
